Self-drive boat rental (small boat without skipper)
With small groups (up to six people) it is possible to rent a small self-drive boat. You don’t need a license to rent such a boat at Boaty or Boats4rent.
The electric boats are very easy to operate after a personal instruction about the handling and the basic rules on the Amsterdam canals. A large laminated canal map with nice route suggestions is included. Just like foam seats and life vests in different sizes.
You can rent these boats for a three or four hour time slot or a full day. The rates start at € 79,- per boat for a three hour time slot.

In total our fleet consists of 47 boats, including seven luxury sloops. The most popular small, open boats are the Barracuda and Manhattan. The Barracuda is a trendy sloop with two sun decks. Ideal for larger groups between 12 and 38 persons. The Manhattan is a charming open boat suitable for medium-sized groups (10 to 24 persons). The sloop has a roof and luxurious lounge pillows for a dry, comfortable boat trip.
