Engine was v low on power, particularly after one hour. Think the fee of 50euros per hour is far too expensive (should go down to 30euros after 1st hour). But overall good experience of managing to hire boat of our choice at the last minute on a sunny day! Cheers Steph

Excellent renting system and great backoffice service. Boat clean and easy to navigate. Great way to see Amsterdam. Could have been a 10 if the boat had cushions.

I wonder who "Warren Beatty" draged along on this great vessel, but a lot of his romances must have started on the Vixen.

Food was excellent, the captain wonderful and our team (13 men!) had a wonderful time. We checked if we would still go as weather was terrible, but Roel (the captain) was very relaxed about it. This was definitely a good choice and I recommend this ship/captain/organization to anybody who wants to enjoy Amsterdam!

- The boat was not available on the requested and booked hour. We had to wait 2 hours on the dock to get a boat. - The boat had almost no energy as of the second hour of the cruise.

All fine, although our boat was a little slower than the other sloepdelen boats we kept meeting all night. Will be interested to see how quickly the deposit comes back and what you do about the fact we were 10 minutes late

As it was our honeymoon Jack wanted to do something special. We enjoyed great food and drinks, Nicolai did great! Wonderfull boat and fantastic sailing.

Amazing how much history is in this boat. It beats going to a museum. If you like sailing don't miss this experience.

Although Tom explained that his boat was too high to go under all the bridges in Amsterdam I didn't quite appreciate that the alternative meant we'd only be visiting the Ij. I now know this is the industrial north port of amsterdam and not that attractive, nor did it feel like being in Amsterdam. The boat in itself was lovely, plenty of room - with a roof so didn't have to worry if it started raining, and Tom was charming enough, I just felt sad that I'd not shown my friends the best of amsterdam, which I could have done on a regular canal boat for a fifth of the price - but obviously I should have done a bit more research.

Very good system of picking up the boat. Nice boat and nice experience. Perhaps a bit too expensive. Could have used better order confirmation as many things (for first time use) was unclear.

Got slightly lost (the map was slightly hard to follow at first) but was soon very enjoyable.

We wanted to give my (Italian) in-laws a special treat, and special it was. The boat is a gem with every comfort available, wine and snacks were first-rate and skipper Nico Bax was both friendly and discrete. The weather was wonderful, so there was plenty of traffic on the canals, but he did an expert job of making sure our trip was safe and memorable, door-to-door. A truly lovely way to see the city!

We had a lovely afternoon, a great skipper! (roel) Roel took his time with the children, explained the 'water rules' and how to twist and turn through the canals using walkie talkie communication :) the kids loved it while the big kids hung out aft enjoying a glass of ros. It costs 'a little' but it was absolutely awesome!

overall we were very satisfied with the service. the captain was very approachable and friendly, so was his assistant. It was however very plain inside, i thought maybe they could have decorated it a bit more. maybe thats not common with these kind of boats, but its just a thought!? if we have another function we will definitely consider this boat again.
